Applied experience in productive development
Throughout my professional career I have participated in initiatives aimed at strengthening the provincial productive ecosystem, promoting links between companies, identifying local suppliers and creating new business opportunities.
One of the most valuable experiences was the implementation of Alliances with Value, an initiative designed to strengthen Entre Ríos value chains through coordination between purchasing companies and local suppliers.
The proposal emerged from a frequent problem in many productive sectors: companies capable of supplying quality goods and services often remain outside the radar of potential buyers due to lack of information, contacts or adequate meeting spaces.
Based on that diagnosis, a simple and effective methodology was designed to reduce information barriers between companies and facilitate new commercial links within the province.
Program objectives
- Strengthen provincial value chains.
- Increase the participation of Entre Ríos suppliers.
- Reduce dependence on inputs and services purchased outside the province.
- Create new commercial opportunities.
- Support regional economic development.
- Promote coordination between companies from different productive sectors.
Work methodology
The experience was developed through sector-specific meetings designed to facilitate direct contact between purchasing companies and potential suppliers.
Participants had brief presentation spaces, experience exchanges and linkage meetings focused on identifying concrete opportunities for joint work.
The poultry value chain case
The first experience was developed in the poultry chain, one of Entre Ríos' most important productive sectors, with strong territorial presence across the province.
Meat processors, supplier firms, technology companies, metalworking industries, service providers and ventures linked to different stages of the value chain participated.
Results
The program also generated quotation requests, product trials and new commercial relationships. Several companies identified local suppliers they had not previously known.
Lessons learned
One of the main lessons was that many business opportunities fail to materialize simply because companies operating in the same territory do not have enough information about each other.
Appropriate meeting spaces can significantly reduce these barriers and strengthen the local productive ecosystem.
Applied to the present
The lessons from this experience are part of the way Arará works today: generating information, coordinating actors, identifying opportunities and transforming ideas into concrete projects that contribute to territorial growth.
